Get to Know… Julie Forsberg and Chris Neubauer of Yonder

This week we’re excited to introduce you to our friends Julie and Chris of Yonder.  This dynamic and hardworking duo harnessed their talents and followed their dreams to form their own Custom Event Design company in 2012.  Julie and Chris pour their creativity into each and every project they take on, and it just so happens they’re a couple in real life too!  We felt it was only fitting for us to interview both of them together.

Q: Which industry related tool can you not live without?

 A:  Julie:  Hands down, my exacto knife 

Chris: Pantone Swatch Book for mixing ink colors

Q: When you’re not on site at an event, what can we find you doing?

A: Skiing is a passion we both share. Our company is actually named after my favorite ski run at Vail  

When all of the snow has melted, you can find us paddle boarding around Lake Tahoe where we live for much of the year

Q: At which venue are you dying to work?

A: A few of the private estates on Tahoe’s West Shore

A: Julie: Collection of silk scarves from around the world

Q: What’s your favorite restaurant in the Bay Area?

A: Julie: We’ve been going to 1760 on Polk a lot recently for dinner

Chris: Plow in Potrero Hill is our go to breakfast spot.  The potatoes are a must!

A: Stacy and Allie are great to collaborate with.  They have impeccable taste and are always open to new ideas.
