Little idea: DIY favor

I fell in love the moment I spotted these favors, and knew I had to share. They give your guests a sweet little treat, while also showing them your appreciation!

And can you believe that they are just recycled frappuccino bottles?? The talented blogger over at You Are My Fave just painted the tops silver and used stickers from Martha Stewart! They are so colorful and fun for spring – and would work for a wedding, shower – the possibilities are endless! Fingers crossed that we can see them at an event soon!

SUSIE CAKES! Can you sense our excitement…I mean who doesn’t enjoy boxes of sweets delivered to them at work? The Stacy McCain Event Planning office is now filled with cupcakes, cookies, and whoopie pies…oh MY!

Susie cakes offers cakes, cupcakes and cookies for engagement parties, bridal showers, grooms cakes, shower & wedding favors (so fun!), wedding cakes, and sweet tables – and they bake 100% from scratch! How cute would one (or a couple…) of these cookies be for a save the date!? We would LOVE to see that…and taste it!

No need to show you the aftermath…lets just say we were in sugar heaven. YUM!

daily inspiration: pastel tulle

I have to admit: I have a crazed obsession with tulle. Don’t worry – I am not saying that I wear it on a daily basis, but you would be alarmed by how many colorful (costume!) tutus I have in my closet (as were most of my friends when I began pulling them out a few months ago). So, when I saw this amazing picture on Cupcakes and Cashmere I fell in love and I knew I had to share it! The colors are amazing and so inspiring for an Easter fête! Enjoy!

With Stacy off at Coachella (jealous!) we are trying to bring you all a little piece of the festival. The lineup is amazing and we wish we could all be there, but sadly it is not in the cards. Here is a peek at some of the items that we would wear…

little idea: succulent moment

As you can tell by the title us gals at Stacy McCain Event Planning are having a bit of a succulent moment. Whether it is just as decoration or used at way to organize all of your amazing guests, we LOVE it all. The plants give events such a uniquely rustic touch like nothing else can.
